Dr Ellis has focused his practice on aesthetic medicine since becoming a qualified medical practitioner through the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He is experienced in minimally-invasive facial rejuvenation techniques, and has a specific interest in utilising the body’s own regenerative mechanisms to help people look refreshed in a natural and healthy way.
He believes it is key to capture and enhance an individual’s natural beauty, while preserving their unique character and emotional expression. True beauty appears in animation, expression and movement - not just still photography.
Dr Ellis brings a culmination of international experience to his everyday practice. He has trained with experts from the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East in non-surgical skin tightening procedures and aesthetic medical techniques. He has broad experience with injectable treatments, having designed and run training programs for over 60 doctors and nurses from across Australia and New Zealand. He also has a detailed understanding of prescription skincare, previously acting as the Medical and Clinical Director of a leading prescription skincare company in Australia and now undertaking skincare formulation consultancy work for both Australian and international companies. His breadth of aesthetic experience allows him to provide a variety of treatment options and address each layer of the facial anatomy depending on the concern.
Dr Ellis has recently been recognised for his clinical outcomes by being announced as the Australian Minimally Invasive Physician of the Year at the InMode 2023 Awards. His progressive FaceTite and Morpheus8 techniques have gained international recognition, and Dr Ellis has trained practitioners across the Asia Pacific including plastic surgeons, dermatologists, cosmetic physicians, and general practitioners. He has presented his techniques at a number of international conferences and was recently invited to contribute to a textbook on minimally invasive facial rejuvenation.
As a thought leader in the non-surgical space and with a breadth of experience in aesthetics, Dr Ellis aims to marry technology, technique and expertise to help people look as fresh and vibrant as they feel.
